Engine Scanner by Paul VargyasEngine Scanner. Always wanted a
scanner to evaluate what all your engine sensors are doing? The answer is an
inexpensive AUTOXRAY refurbished XP240 GM scanner. You hook it up to the ALCL
connector (behind the plate where the cigarette lighter is), and you can read
the values of all the sensors through the ECM (computer). I just received one a
few days before the last club meeting, and initial testing shows it to works
fine, and provides all the info most “home auto mechanics” would need to
know! Cost is $89.99 from www.Autocheckup.com.
